Iraq Equestrian Federation sets September 25 congress to elect new board

BAGHDAD, Iraq — The Iraqi Equestrian Federation held an extraordinary general assembly in Baghdad with the participation of the legal representative of the Formation Council, approving the administrative and financial reports for 2023, 2024 and 2025 by unanimous vote. The assembly also voted on the formation of an electoral committee to oversee the upcoming leadership vote. Federation members set September 25 as the date of the ordinary congress, which will elect a new board of directors for a four-year term. The general assembly was held at the Iraqi Business Council hall in Baghdad. The federation said the elected leadership will handle the body's administrative affairs in the coming term. The congress is part of the federation's effort to complete its institutional processes and carry out a planned renewal of its governing body.
