Iraq Airways to Resume 40 International Flights Tuesday

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraqi authorities announced that Iraq Airways will operate more than 40 international flights on Tuesday, resuming regular service after a period of restricted air traffic. The Iraqi Ministry of Transport issued the announcement Monday, releasing a flight schedule for the next day. The move follows a decision by the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority to reopen Iraqi airspace for all airports. The authority said the airspace reopening came after military operations between Iran and Israel ceased, allowing air traffic to resume under approved operational procedures. The Ministry confirmed that international flights will be carried out according to the published schedule. The resumption marks a return to normal flight operations across Iraqi airports, with the Ministry targeting full restoration of air traffic movements.
