SULAYMANIYAH, Iraq โ Iran carried out drone strikes early Saturday targeting offices and bases of Iranian Kurdish opposition parties near the city of Sulaymaniyah, according to Amjad Hussein, an official with the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan. Hussein said the strikes hit the party's centers and that the home of a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Workers' Komala Society, located near Zarkviz in the Penjwen area, was struck by a drone.
Hussein said the Political Bureau member was not wounded. He added that initial information indicated no casualties in the attack.
The official stressed that the strikes targeted sites belonging to Iranian Kurdish opposition parties in the vicinity of Sulaymaniyah. No further details were immediately available.
