Iranian media said Tehran’s negotiating team has still not reached an agreement with Washington, as talks remain stalled and the ceasefire in the war that began in February 2026 continues to look fragile. Sources said some issues have seen progress, but a deal cannot be completed until all points of dispute are resolved.
An American website said the negotiations have been extremely exhausting and have produced no significant breakthrough. It added that President Trump has grown increasingly frustrated and suggested mounting a major military operation to end the war and declare victory.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman stressed that the visit of the Pakistan Army Chief of Staff does not mean the talks with the United States have reached a निर्णining stage. He said the visit should not be interpreted as evidence of a final breakthrough in the negotiations.
The discussions remain deadlocked despite the partial progress reported on some issues, with no agreement yet in sight. The fragile ceasefire has added pressure to the process as both sides continue to search for a way forward.
