Iran's Revolutionary Guard says it struck US F-35 jets at Jordan airbase

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it targeted the Al Azraq airbase in Jordan, hitting platforms housing three US F-35 fighter jets along with maintenance hangars. In a statement, the IRGC said the operation was carried out in response to US "aggression" in the region and framed it as support for efforts to end what it called the American occupation of the base. The IRGC also claimed that some enemy officers, technical crew and maintenance teams were killed in the strikes, without providing figures. The statement said there was no place in the region for an army that "kills children" and targets families, and stressed that the targets struck were located inside Jordanian territory.
