Intelligence unit in Kirkuk arrests suspect wanted in Sweden

KIRKUK, Iraq — An intelligence unit responsible for counterterrorism in Kirkuk said it arrested an internationally wanted suspect accused of murder and kidnapping committed in Sweden. The unit said it intensified intelligence work and field surveillance after receiving information that the suspect was in the city. It said the suspect was later handed over to the relevant authorities for legal procedures.
