Hunter Biden Appointed Consultant for Addiction Recovery Foundation

LOS ANGELES, California — Hunter Biden has been appointed as a consultant for the Peak Path Health foundation, an organization specializing in addiction and behavioral health. The announcement was made Tuesday from the foundation's Hollywood Hills location. As a non-profit entity, the foundation aims to expand recovery support, advocacy, education, and community awareness through partnerships with the Peak Path Health center. The organization stated that Biden will use his personal experience to increase access to post-addiction services, noting that he will complete a seven-year recovery process in June 2026. U.S. President Joe Biden previously granted his son a comprehensive pardon covering the period from January 1, 2014, to December 1, 2024. In a November 2025 interview with South African media personality Joshua Rubin, Hunter Biden stated that approximately $17 million of his debt resulted from legal expenses. Details regarding Biden's compensation and whether the role allows for remote work have not been disclosed.
