Russian Premier League club Fakel Voronej has announced the death of former Ukrainian forward Aleksandr Kasyan at the age of 38. The club said in a statement that Kasyan died of cardiac arrest and extended condolences to his family and friends. Kasyan played for Russian clubs from 2013 to 2018, featuring for Fakel Voronej, Tom Tomsk, Khimki Dzerzhinsk, Baltika Kaliningrad and Avangard Kursk. He earned two caps for the Ukraine under-21 national team, scoring once.
