Five wounded in stabbing incidents across multiple Kirkuk neighborhoods

KIRKUK, Iraq — Health authorities in Kirkuk said five people, including two young women, were wounded by bladed weapons in separate knife fights that broke out across several neighborhoods of the city. Officials identified the locations as the Dervaze area, a district near Sulaymaniyah road and the Shorav neighborhood, adding that all of the wounded were listed in stable condition. The injured were transported to hospitals in the city, where medical teams provided first aid and treatment. According to the authorities, the most serious of the incidents was a family dispute that left three people with stab wounds; no fatalities were reported. Security forces were dispatched to the scenes after receiving reports and secured the affected areas.
