ADEN, Yemen โ Four children were killed and nine others wounded when a war remnant left by the Houthis exploded in a village in Yemen's southern Ad-Dali governorate, local authorities said. The blast occurred in the village of Rabi in the Hacer area north of the provincial capital.
Governor of Ad-Dali Major General Ahmed Kaid al-Kubbe ordered health units and medical teams to go on alert and provide emergency care to the wounded, according to a statement from the local administration. Authorities said a total of 13 children were affected by the explosion, four of them fatally.
Local officials described the incident as one of the heaviest humanitarian tragedies recorded in the governorate. Response efforts were being carried out by local health teams following the blast. No further details were immediately available on the circumstances surrounding the explosion.
