BAGHDAD, Iraq โ€” The U.S. dollar's selling rate against the Iraqi dinar rose at the close of trading on Monday, August 24, in the foreign exchange markets of Baghdad and Erbil. In Baghdad's Kifah and Harisiyye exchanges, 100 dollars traded at 154,400 dinars, compared with 154,300 dinars in the morning session, according to a correspondent. At currency exchange offices in central Baghdad, the selling price for 100 dollars reached 155,000 dinars, while the buying price stood at 154,000 dinars. In Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region in northern Iraq, the selling rate climbed to 154,450 dinars per 100 dollars and the buying rate was recorded at 154,400 dinars.
