CENTCOM says it intercepted two Iranian missiles aimed at Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait — KUWAIT — U.S. Central Command said two Iranian ballistic missiles targeting American forces stationed in Kuwait were intercepted. The command said the interception took place at 11:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time. In a statement on its X account, CENTCOM said U.S. service members were in good condition and that no one was wounded in the attack. The command said its forces would remain on high alert and continue to protect their units against potential threats. It also said support for the ceasefire in effect since April 8 would continue.
