SALADIN, Iraq โ Canada faces Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday at Toronto Stadium in the teams' first-ever World Cup meeting, kicking off the host nation's campaign in Group B of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Group B lineup also includes Qatar and Switzerland.
The match follows Thursday's opening game in Mexico, where the hosts played South Africa, and shifts focus to the United States, which is scheduled to take on Paraguay in Los Angeles late Saturday in Group D. Australia and Turkey are also in that group. beIN Sports holds broadcast rights for the MENA region and will air the CanadaโBosnia and Herzegovina game.
Earlier on Friday in Group A, South Korea rallied to defeat the Czech Republic 2-1, drawing level on points with Mexico after the host's opening draw.
