American pop singer Britney Spears said she experienced drooping in her left eyelid for roughly four weeks after receiving botox injections around the area, and used the episode to urge caution about cosmetic procedures. The 44-year-old artist described the issue in a video shared on her Instagram account, saying the problem began after too much botox was injected into her left eye.
Spears said the eyelid droop eventually began returning to normal. She told her followers to be careful when considering botox and similar aesthetic treatments, noting that some doctors have warned such procedures can cause serious damage to the eyes.
The singer urged people to be selective about who performs such treatments and to avoid any urge to alter their facial features excessively. She ended the post with the note "Kimseye gรผvenmeyin," or "Don't trust anyone."
The remarks came after previous public comments by Spears about her personal life and the 13-year legal conservatorship that ended in 2021.
