A rare albino buffalo at a farm near Dhaka, Bangladesh, has drawn wide attention on social media after being nicknamed “Donald Trump” for its unusual appearance. The animal weighs about 700 kilograms and stands out because of its pinkish skin and light orange fur.
The farm owner said the name refers only to the buffalo’s appearance, which resembles yellow hair, and stressed that the animal is calm and docile. The buffalo’s unusual look is the result of albinism, a rare condition.
The buffalo became an object of public interest online as people shared images of the animal. It was also among the animals prepared for slaughter during the holiday period.
