Al-Zawraa departs for Cairo ahead of new Iraqi Premier League season

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraqi football club Al-Zawraa has sent its squad to Cairo for pre-season preparations ahead of the 2025-26 Iraqi Premier League season, the club announced. The delegation will hold an external training camp in the Egyptian capital, with the technical staff planning to use the period to raise players' physical and technical conditioning and evaluate the squad before the league begins on August 14.
