Zakho Club signs midfielder Harun Ahmed from Duhok

ZAKHO, Iraq — Iraqi northern club Zakho has completed the signing of midfielder Harun Ahmed from Duhok, the club's media officer Ali Haci said. Haci announced that all transfer procedures had been finalized and the contract had been officially signed. Haci noted that the 31-year-old Ahmed previously played for Zakho and is familiar with the club's environment. The move is aimed at strengthening the squad for the upcoming Iraqi Premier League season, with preparations underway ahead of the new campaign. According to Haci, the club is working to build a competitive roster and has accelerated transfer talks as the season approaches. Ahmed's contract with Duhok was set to expire at the end of June.
