US Dollar Rates Stabilize Across Baghdad, Erbil, and Basra

The US dollar remained stable against the Iraqi dinar on Thursday afternoon across major trading hubs in Baghdad, Erbil, and Basra, maintaining high valuation levels. While the official government exchange rate remains fixed at 130,000 dinars per $100, a significant gap persists in the parallel market. In Baghdad, the market selling price reached 154,500 dinars per $100, with the buying price recorded at 153,750 dinars. Trading in Basra saw selling prices at 154,000 dinars per $100, while the wholesale buying rate stood at 153,500 dinars. Erbil reported a selling price of 154,000 dinars per $100, with local traders buying at 153,250 dinars.
