Two separate fires brought under control in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Two separate fires broke out in different parts of Baghdad on the same day and were brought under control by Civil Defense teams, with no casualties reported. The first blaze started in a residential home in the Es-Sınai neighborhood of Kadhimiya, according to security sources. The sources said the damage was limited to material losses and no deaths were recorded. A second fire broke out in the Tiras area of the city when accumulated waste ignited in an abandoned lot.
