During the negotiations, the Iranian delegation temporarily walked out of the room, citing Trump's threats, before talks resumed. The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding calling for an immediate ceasefire across all fronts, including Lebanon, and setting a timetable for lifting the maritime blockade and restoring navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. Under the memorandum, negotiations on Iran's nuclear program are to begin within 60 days.
