Three injured after vehicle rams family in Kirkuk

KIRKUK, Iraq — Three members of a family were injured on Monday in the Vasiti neighborhood of Kirkuk when a young driver deliberately drove into them as they stood next to their parked car outside their home, a local security source said. The father and his two sons sustained injuries of varying severity and were taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Security forces responded to the incident and detained three people, transferring them to the Justice Police Station, the source added. The father and his sons were standing beside their vehicle when the driver accelerated toward them in what authorities described as an intentional act.
