ERBIL, Iraq โ The annual Summer Fair opened in Erbil on Tuesday, drawing 125 companies, including 50 firms from Egypt and other Arab countries alongside local businesses from the Kurdistan Region, according to Erbil Governor Omid Khoshnaw.
The governorate said participating companies are selling their products directly to visitors at the fair, which will run for 10 days. The exhibition is open daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Khoshnaw said the fair focuses on summer goods, prepared and stocked merchandise, local products and handicrafts. He added that the Kurdistan Regional Government's support for commercial events and festivals is aimed at increasing trade volume and tourism activity in the region.
