Several sites targeted in attacks on Iran's Bushehr and Hormozgan provinces

Multiple sites came under military attack in Iran's southern Bushehr and Hormozgan provinces, the official IRNA news agency reported. Four separate points within the administrative boundaries of Bushehr city were targeted, according to the deputy governor of Bushehr, who officially confirmed the strikes but provided no further details on the nature of the targets or possible casualties. Iranian authorities reported hearing loud explosions in Bushehr city and in Choghadak. The governor of Hormozgan separately confirmed that a site west of Bandar Abbas had been struck in a similar attack. The source of the strikes, the party responsible and any group claiming the attacks had not been disclosed. No official Iranian statement on the incident had been issued.
