BAGHDAD, Iraq โ The Iraqi Ministry of Education announced that admissions to elite, successful and talented schools for the next academic year will follow strict criteria, with no exceptions allowed.
Ministry spokesperson Karim al-Sayyid said the admissions process will be based on competition among students. Application instructions are currently being prepared and will be conducted according to the current academic year's outcomes and student levels.
Sayyid said these schools hold special importance for the ministry. Final regulations remain under review and have not yet been finalized.
Admissions will be determined based on students' results and performance in special exams for allocated quotas. The ministry said details regarding admission conditions, exam dates and application procedures will be announced later.
