Magnitude 6.2 earthquake strikes off eastern Indonesia, no damage reported

BALI, Indonesia — A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck off the eastern coast of Indonesia on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. No casualties or damage have been reported, the agency said. The quake was recorded at a depth of 120 kilometers, about 58 kilometers west of Tobelo, the capital of North Maluku province, at 11:31 a.m. local time, according to the USGS.
