BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Diwaniya Governor Abbas Zamili said the director of the Kufa cement factory, Mohammed Garabi, has been sent to prison on charges of spreading misleading information and defaming a public official. In a video message posted on the governorate's official page, Zamili confirmed the arrest was carried out on the same day.
The governor also announced that legal proceedings will be filed against Iraqi parliament member Amir Nasrallah, accusing the lawmaker of disseminating misleading information and defamation through his own official page.
