BAGHDAD, Iraq โ President Abdul Latif Rashid received Sheikh Sami al-Masoudi, head of Iraq's High Hajj and Umrah Commission, and senior officials from the body at the Salam Palace in Baghdad on Tuesday. The commission said Rashid praised its work and the services provided to pilgrims.
Rashid noted that Iraq's hajj delegation had been selected for the fourth consecutive year as the best among Islamic countries' missions for organization and services, receiving the "Labbayt" award. He said the recognition reflected the delegation's commitment to serving guests and its professional management, calling it a meaningful achievement for the Iraqi people.
Al-Masoudi thanked the president for his support and attention, saying the commission would continue its development plans to improve service quality. He added that the body would work to deliver the best services to Iraqi hajj pilgrims and Umrah travelers.
