BAGHDAD, Iraq โ€” Iraqi football clubs are moving forward with their transfer preparations ahead of the new season, with several teams announcing player and coaching deals. Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya renewed the contract of coach Hassan Ahmed and extended agreements with foreign players Ruben Akwa and top scorer Lucas Santos, while also signing Hussein Naami from Jwlan. In the domestic market, Sheriff Abdulqadir left Police Club to join Al-Gurfa. Karama announced the signing of Nigerian player Cibola from Air Force Club, and Air Force Club reached an agreement with Tunisian coach Khaled Bin Yahya.
