Iraq U-20 squad departs for Bangkok training camp ahead of Asian qualifiers

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq's U-20 national football team left Baghdad on Saturday for a training camp in Bangkok ahead of the U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers to be hosted by Thailand later this month. The head coach announced a 25-player squad covering goalkeeping, defense, midfield and attack for the overseas preparation camp. Two players based at clubs abroad, Botan Amin and Yusuf Nasrawi, are expected to join the squad once they receive clearance from their respective clubs, according to the coaching staff.
