BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's Meteorological Authority said the country will shift to winter conditions next week, with temperatures on Friday expected to reach between 39ยฐC and 45ยฐC across various regions. According to the agency, weather will remain clear on Friday and Saturday, with temperatures close to those of the previous day.
On Sunday, clear skies are forecast nationwide, though partly cloudy conditions and a chance of light showers are expected in mountainous areas of the northern region. Temperatures are projected to edge up slightly across the country. Monday is forecast to bring clear weather to the central and southern regions, with partly cloudy skies in the north; temperatures are expected to dip slightly in the central region while remaining close to the previous day's levels in the north and south.
The agency urged residents, particularly in the northern mountainous areas, to remain cautious given the possibility of rainfall.
