BAGHDAD, Iraq โ The chairman of Iraq's National Investment Commission, Adil al-Yasiri, met on Wednesday with a delegation from the Italian company developing an Italian Hospital project in central Baghdad, on the site of the former Turkish Restaurant.
According to a statement from the commission's press office, the meeting reviewed the project's implementation stages along with technical and operational details. The two sides agreed to maintain cooperation to complete the project in line with the approved timeline and standards.
Al-Yasiri stressed the importance of closely tracking strategic projects and providing the necessary facilitation to investing companies. Representatives of the Italian firm said they would continue working in line with international standards to deliver advanced medical services aimed at strengthening Baghdad's healthcare infrastructure.
The project is expected to expand healthcare capacity and contribute to meeting Iraq's need for foreign investment in the medical sector.
