BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's gross domestic product reached 82.1 trillion dinars in the fourth quarter of 2025, according to early warning indicators released by the National Accounts Department at the Ministry of Planning. The figures were published as part of the department's quarterly tracking of economic output.
The department presented the fourth-quarter performance in comparison with earlier periods of the year. The indicators are designed to measure the impact of movements in production, consumption and investment on national income. Officials said the GDP figure will serve as a reference point for public finance planning and sectoral growth assessments.
According to the ministry, the early warning system is intended to detect periodic deviations in economic activity in advance. The quarterly output figure is viewed as a leading indicator ahead of the final national income accounts, which are expected to be confirmed at year-end. No further details on the methodology or revised figures were immediately available.
