Iraq ranks 73rd globally, 8th among Arab states in 2026 Brand Finance index

KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait — Iraq placed 73rd globally and 8th among Arab countries in Brand Finance's 2026 Nation Brand Value index, the consultancy's results showed. The United Arab Emirates led the Arab world at 14th, followed by Saudi Arabia at 15th and Qatar at 37th, underscoring the Gulf states' strong positioning in the global rankings. Egypt ranked 51st, Kuwait 55th, Morocco 58th and Algeria 64th, with the report citing gradual improvements in economic and media indicators. Iraq's regional weight, alongside stability and reform processes, were cited as determining factors in its assessment. Lower in the table, Oman placed 76th, followed by Jordan at 92, Libya at 96, Bahrain at 99, Tunisia at 115, Lebanon at 122, Sudan at 129, Syria at 148 and Yemen at 158.
