Iraq Professional Basketball League Commences Second Stage

The second stage of the Iraq Professional Basketball League begins this Thursday, with competition divided into two regional groups. First group fixtures will take place at the Zaho Club Hall in Zaho, while second group matches will be hosted at the Armenian Club Hall in Baghdad. Opening matchups for the first group include Ishchi Ninevah against North Oil, Zaho versus Sabis, and North Gas facing Air Defense. The second group schedule features Yekza Duvani against Maysan Oil, Hilla versus Electricity, and a final game between Hashd al-Shaabi and Tigris University. Following the first stage of the competition, Air Defense leads the first group with 10 points, while Hashd al-Shaabi tops the second group with 9 points.
