Iraq men's volleyball team to compete in West Asian Championship in Oman

BAGHDAD, Iraq — The Iraqi Volleyball Federation announced that the men's national team will compete in the West Asian Volleyball Championship, scheduled for July 11–21, 2026, in Oman. The federation said the tournament is part of the national team's preparation program for future international events. Separately, the federation's Competitions Committee announced the schedule for the Iraqi women's clubs championship qualifiers. The qualifying matches will be held from July 7 to 11 at the Senharib Sports Club hall in Duhok, in the Kurdistan Region. The committee said clubs wishing to participate must submit their registration letters by July 1 at the latest so that participation can be finalized and the tournament's administrative processes completed.
