BAGHDAD, Iraq โ€” Iraq's Ministry of Health has issued a ministerial order restructuring the leadership of Kimadia, the state company responsible for marketing medicines and medical supplies. Under the decision, Pharmacist Director Marwa Adil Saeed was removed from her post as head of the Customs Exit Unit. Pharmacist Director Samir Samir Haz'ar, currently serving at Baghdad's Karkh Health Department, has been transferred to Kimadia for a one-year assignment and appointed to head the Customs Exit Unit. His salary and allowances will be paid in line with applicable regulations, the order said. The ministry said the decision was issued under the authorities granted by the Ministry of Health Law No. 10 of 1983. It stated that the change aims to reorganize internal administrative procedures and redistribute responsibilities within the company. No further details on the timing of the transition were immediately available.
