BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's Ministry of Education has announced that students at public universities will be exempt from fees during their summer internships. The decision was approved by the Minister of Health, clearing the way for students to complete their required summer training without making any additional payments.
According to the ministry, the exemption applies to all students enrolled at public universities who are required to complete a summer internship as part of their studies. The ministry said the measure is intended to ease the financial burden on students during their training period and to facilitate access to education.
The ministry added that the necessary official correspondence has been sent to universities and the relevant departments. Under the new arrangement, the internship period will be carried out without any fee being charged, according to the ministry's statement.
