Electricity Minister Ali Saadi Wehib met with the Gulf Interconnection Board to push forward completion and commissioning of the Gulf electricity interconnection project. The talks focused on the technical details of the 500 megawatt line and the project’s final implementation stages. Wehib said all necessary resources would be provided to ensure the project is delivered, adding that support for the scheme would continue. He stressed the need to accelerate the procedures required for implementation and remove all obstacles delaying progress.
