DUHOK, Iraq โ Organizers of the Duhok International Film Festival have opened submissions for the festival's 13th edition, the event's spokesperson said. Hasan Arif announced that directors and producers can submit their works from June 20, 2026, in line with the festival's regulations, with the application window remaining open until September 1, 2026.
The festival is scheduled to run from December 5 to December 12, 2026, and will feature film screenings alongside a range of artistic and cultural events. Arif described the festival as one of the leading cultural events in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, noting that it draws broad international participation each year.
The 13th edition is expected to bring together artists and guests from several countries, with organizers aiming to support the cinema movement and provide a platform for the exchange of experience. The festival management has begun preparations early and called on prospective participants to apply in accordance with the established rules.
