DUHOK, Iraq โ Duhok came from behind to beat Air Force 2-1 at Duhok Olympic Stadium on Friday in the first day of matchweek five in the Iraqi Premier League. Air Force captain Saeed Abdulamir gave the visitors a 1-0 lead at halftime, with goalkeeper Mohammed Salih saving a 45+3 penalty from Mahmoud Al-Mewwas before the break.
Duhok leveled in the 65th minute through an Igor Henrique penalty before the same player struck again in the 90th minute to seal the three points. Air Force finished the match with 10 men after a second-half red card.
The result lifted Duhok to seventh place on seven points, while Air Force slipped to 14th on four points.
In the other Friday fixture, Naft Al-Wasat and Garaf played out a goalless draw at the Zurawi Club Stadium in Neutral Stadium. Garaf moved up to 13th on five points, with Naft Al-Wasat remaining 15th on four.
