According to the same information, Haider al-Abudi was assigned as government spokesman and would replace Ebuavi in that role. Hasaneyn Sheikh was named head of the prime minister’s protocol office, while Abdulzehra al-Hindawi was nominated to lead the press office. The report said the changes are tied to the media and protocol structure of the prime minister’s office. It said the personnel shifts cover the media office administration, the government spokesman position, the protocol directorate and the press office directorate. The document also said the name changes and new assignments were intended to clarify responsibilities in the relevant units.
