Chinese automaker DENZA opens first showroom in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Chinese premium automaker DENZA has opened its first showroom in Iraq, located at Baghdad's Iraq Mall, marking the brand's entry into the Iraqi market under Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD. The company said the new sales point is intended to offer Iraqi customers access to its premium-segment vehicles. Electric and hybrid models will be displayed at the Baghdad showroom, according to the brand. DENZA representatives said the outlet was established to strengthen its presence in the Middle East. The opening ceremony was attended by automotive sector representatives and media. BYD, which owns the DENZA brand, has accelerated its overseas expansion in recent years, opening new sales points in multiple countries. The Baghdad launch is part of that broader push beyond China, the company said.
