BEIRUT, Lebanon — BEIRUT — Logistical preparations are underway to relocate 648 families from Syria's northeastern Hasakah to Ras al-Ain, a member of the presidential team and Syrian People's Council said. Mustapha Abdi, who handles returnee and reintegration matters, said the transfer is being carried out with Syria's Internal Security Forces and several humanitarian organizations, and is expected to be completed by next Monday. Abbi said work continues to close the remaining integration lines under an agreement between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with no new developments since the president's recent meeting with the SDF delegation. He reiterated calls to accelerate the process and remove obstacles to implementation. Final military arrangements, women's participation and the status of the courthouse files in Qamishli and Hasakah are expected to be addressed in the coming days. The relocation of the families is proceeding in parallel with the implementation of the broader integration agreement. President Ahmad al-Shara recently met with SDF and Autonomous Administration delegations, stressing the need for rapid implementation of the agreement's terms.
